How to build a Tipsy Tower
Instructions for Ground, Floor or any flat surface
Step 1: After assembling the Tipsy Tower; place your Tipsy Tower inside the bottom pot (this will be the largest pot).
Step 2:
Fill the pot about 2/3 full with fine gravel or rock. Hold the tower in place while pouring the rock into the pot so it remains in proper alignment.
Step 3:
Fill the remaining 1/3 of the pot with potting soil. Fill up close to the top of pot and pat firmly.
All other pots being used in the display can be filled with potting soil and plants before or after placing on the Tipsy Tower. We will assume for the instructions given that all pots have been filled with potting soil and plants have been planted.
Step 4:
Slide pot #2 down the Tipsy Tower rod. When sliding this pot down the rod, start by tilting the pot on a 45 degree angle. The rod will be inserted into the bottom hole on the pot. It will pop thru the top of the potting soil close to the edge of the pot. As you slide the pot down the rod you should maneuver the pot so that the base rests on the soil of pot #1 close to the middle of the pot and the top edge of pot #2 is resting against the tower pole.
Step 5:
Slide Pot #3 down the tower rod in the same manner as you slid pot #2. Insert thru the bottom hole while holding the pot at about a 45 degree angle. When pot #3 reaches pot #2 it should rest on the edge of pot #2 and the top edge of pot #3 should rest against the Tipsy Tower rod.
Step 6: Continue this process tipping the pots in the opposite direction of the pot previously installed
Step 7: After all pots are in place plant the bottom pot as desired
